Many years ago the Michigan Women’s Studies Association created a theme trail recognizing distinguished Michigan women, many of them Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame Honorees. This trail consists of signs located across the state that share information about each of the women. We have not been able to check on these signs in a while and we have been contacted to let us know that a couple of them are missing or in a bad state of repair.
If you live near any of these trail markers or as you travel the state this summer, we are asking for help assessing the condition of these signs. Below you will find a list of signs and locations, please contact us to share what you discover (if you can send us a picture, that would be even better!). Please contact 517-484-1880 x203 or info@michiganwomen to report on a sign’s condition.
